The County Theater (Doylestown, PA) is always looking for groundbreaking independent films with a strong local connection. Below you’ll find that our local film programming includes open submissions for Feature Length films year round. Also we play host to our very own short film competition in the spring with the One Minute Film Festival. Not to mention our ongoing partnership with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and their Bucks Fever FilmFest screening every fall. First Take Shorts Series
Every spring the County Theater presents a night of short films with the First Take Shorts Series. On this night, local filmmakers in the Greater Philadelphia Area get the opportunity to showcase their short films on the big screen. Bucks Fever FilmFest
The Bucks Fever FilmFest is a night of award winning short films, showcasing the best local filmmakers in the Bucks County area. From narrative to animation, student to emerging, the Bucks Fever FilmFest is a platform for local filmmakers to let their voices be heard. In association with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce.
