A landmark in blockbuster filmmaking, BATMAN set the standard for big screen comic book adaptations. Tim Burton brings his unique vision to Gotham City, showcasing the Caped Crusader in a much more serious and gothic tone. By night, billionaire Bruce Wayne assumes the role of Batman (Michael Keaton), a winged vigilante determined to eradicate crime and corruption, which places him directly in the sights of The Joker (Jack Nicholson), a grotesque criminal intent on unleashing chaos.
This is an outdoor screening at the Mercer Museum.
